Destinations Terms & Conditions for Booking Airline Tickets
Introduction
Welcome to Crosswind Travel. Please take the time to carefully read these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) before booking airline tickets through our website. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs.
1. Agreement and Authority
When you make a booking with Crosswind Travel, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these T&Cs on behalf of yourself and any other travelers in your group. You are also responsible for ensuring that all required payments are made by every traveler included in the booking.
2. Booking and Contract Formation
A binding contract is created once you complete the booking process, accept these T&Cs, and provide the necessary payment. A confirmation invoice will be issued by Crosswind Travel to finalize the agreement.
3. Privacy and Data Protection
We value your privacy and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In order to process bookings, we may collect personal details such as:
Full name, title, date of birth, and gender
Contact information and residential address
Passport and travel identification details
Emergency contact details
Payment card information and booking references
Travel preferences such as meal choices and destinations
This data is used to manage your bookings, process payments, provide tailored services, and fulfill legal obligations. Where necessary, we may share your information with affiliated companies, trusted third parties, and service providers, while maintaining strict security measures to protect your data.
4. Payment Terms
A deposit is required when booking.
Final payment must be received no later than 8 weeks before departure.
Crosswind Travel accepts major credit and debit cards for payment.
5. Cancellation and Alteration by You
If you wish to make changes or cancel your booking, amendment fees and any additional charges will apply. Please note that cancellations may result in the loss of your deposit or other payments already made.
6. Changes by Crosswind Travel
We reserve the right to make adjustments to flight schedules, services, or descriptions. In the event of a significant change, you will be notified and offered alternative options or a refund where applicable.
7. Liability and Complaints
Our responsibility is limited to ensuring that the services booked with us match the descriptions provided. If you have a complaint, you should raise it during your trip whenever possible. Alternatively, complaints must be submitted in writing within 28 days of your return.
8. Passport, Visa, and Health Requirements
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports, visas, and any required health documents. Please check with the appropriate authorities well in advance of your travel date.
9. Third-Party Suppliers
When you book flights, your contract is directly with the airline. Crosswind Travel acts solely as an agent and your booking will also be subject to the airline’s terms and conditions.
10. Additional Information
Travel Insurance: Strongly recommended for all travelers.
Advance Passenger Information (API): Required for some destinations.
Hotel Ratings & Descriptions: Provided for guidance; standards may differ across regions.
Local Taxes & Fees: Additional charges may apply and must be paid directly to service providers.
11. Agreement to Terms
By booking with Crosswind Travel, you acknowledge and accept these T&Cs in full. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our website and services.
